Business to Business (B2B) Events:

While we do not work on the business development of individual members, through our B2B events we do promote sector-wise businesses. These are mainly four types:
  • large business conferences,
  • large sectoral conferences,
  • focused roundtables on specific tech/business solutions, and
  • offsites.

Public Policy and Advocacy

Our key focus in this sphere is to ensure and enable a policy framework for the digital-first industry. Our public policy submissions are based on principles of equity, rationality and proportionality. All common industry-issues such as data protection, safe harbour, equitable access, safe internet and consumer protection are managed by the public policy committee. Specific sectoral issues are addressed by various sectoral councils and committees. In developing a point of view on a public policy/ advocacy issue, we follow a consensus among members affected by the issue.

Research

We conduct research of various types:

  • Trade numbers such as annual internet users reports and sectoral reports on e-commerce, digital entertainment, digital advertising and so on.
  • Strategic commissioned research on issues such as competition, last-mile digitalisation, the impact of enhanced access on GDP, the impact of data localisation on the economy, emerging sectors’ reports and fiscal matters regarding the digital economy.
